I arrived at 9am on Saturday 20 October at the corner of Montecasino Boulevard and William Nicol to the sight of about 20 other magic makers, ready to make magic for the Springboks and show that our blood is green and gold!
It was magic-making of the highest order - armed with Vuvezela's,
flags, banners, posters, boards, streamers, loud screaming voices and
even Blossom (the green and gold snake) we truly showed that our blood
is Green and Gold.
The Fairy Godmother was in Johannesburg with the Squad and not only did
she do some wand- waving - but also took lots of photos of the event you can see more on Facebook!
The motorists went mad, hooting their support,
the cops tried to stop it -
but were overwhelmed by our passion and enthusiasm.
Charles arrived with his Landi and some Green paint and asked us to
paint is Green.... (hope the paint comes off, Charles)
in return for a
few beers
and we even had a whole family of magic-makers arrive to join
in the fun!
